The 7 Cs of Leadership

posted in: Business Coach

Leadership is one of the key elements to building a strong and successful business. Without powerful leadership, there is little chance of a company meeting its goals and growing into something worthwhile.

1. Clarity

The first C of leadership is clarity. This means having a clear understanding of what your goals are. Clarity enables you to achieve those goals faster and with less resistance.

2. Competence

Competence is the next part of leadership. Be good at what you do and work hard to be knowledgeable in your niche market so that people will see you as a leader in the industry.

3. Continuous Learning

Continuous learning is another important part of strong leadership. You should set a goal of 1% improvement each month, so take time to learn what you can about what is new in the industry, what changes would benefit your business, and how you can improve what you do.

4. Creativity

Thinking outside of the box is not a new idea but creativity will always be an important part of being a strong leader. Don’t be afraid to look for new ideas and venture into new ways of getting things done. Innovation and new ideas are what allow your business to grow and improve over time.

5. Constraint Analysis

Constraint analysis is your ability to separate out the things that prevent you from achieving goals. Eliminating those constraints means you will get to those goals faster.

6. Concentration

Concentration is another element to strong leadership. Being able to focus on the important tasks will keep you moving forward as a leader and you will see even greater results for that concentration.

7. Courage

Finally, being able to maintain your courage in times when others are nervous or afraid is what helps you move everyone else forward to succeed.

Each of these elements are needed in order to grow into a successful leader in your company. A strong leader moves his business and his team forward in order to achieve goals and grow a company into something great.
