Want to Boost Productivity? Remember, Everything Counts

Everything we do each day, from the time we wake up to the time we lay down at night, has an impact on what we achieve because everything counts.This includes the things you do that are directly related to work, like how we interact with customers, how we answer the phone, what projects we work on, what tasks we accomplish, how we interact with the team.

The concept of everything counts is woven throughout the entire business, from  your executive team to your reception staff to your salespeople. When everyone raises their game, you can feel it in the air. There is more motivation, more fun, more energy. The idea that everything we do and say matters makes a huge impact on the way your team will interact with each other and with customers. Having everyone buy into this concept brings up the morale level in the company.

If you feel that there is an issue among your team that needs to be addressed, then have an “Everything Counts” meeting. Listen to what your team has to say and give them some feedback of your own. Where do you see the need for change? What can be done better? How can your brand set itself apart from the rest?

Get your team on board with the idea that everything counts, every action, every communication, every goal. Start focusing on the things that matter and do away with the things that don’t and you will be amazed at how much better things will be in your business.
